Clubhouse Works

Works on the Clubhouse are beginning to ramp up, along with cleaning and maintenance works getting underway in anticipation for opening in 2026.

A summary of works since the last update is below:

club image

Glass removal is complete and steel plate removal is underway.  This will be replaced with a new plate and that will come above the level and create a border

club image

Glass balustrade is installed to the west and north of the terrace with just the capping to be installed to enclose the channel

club image

The sliding door on the south facing entrance to the Club has been installed and is awaiting finishing touches and commissioning on Monday.
Members attending the Club on the weekend should note there is currently no access through this door

Course Works

Both members and staff alike continue to hope for warm weather which will ultimately see the course begin to develop quickly.  While everyone waits, work on the course toilet is well underway and structural work will commence next week.

See the photos below for an update on progression and works throughout the course.

A big thank you to Marty Metcalf, who recently rebuilt the Club’s spreader - an essential piece of turf maintenance equipment. Thanks to his hands-on expertise, the job was completed at a fraction of the cost it would have taken to repair or replace commercially.

Marty’s resourcefulness is a great example of the behind-the-scenes care that keeps the Club running smoothly.
