Junior Golf
Here at Huntingdale we want to encourage all juniors to try golf. Our weekly instructional classes teach our juniors all the fundamental aspects with the incorporation of the games etiquette, rules and regulations. We have created a golfing path for juniors starting with the basic fundamentals to becoming full members of the Huntingdale club. Juniors can join this path at any time and at any level.

Junior Development Program – My Golf
Huntingdale offers all juniors between the ages of 5-16 the opportunity to develop their golf skills twice weekly. Each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon, and Sunday morning, the hour golf instruction class covers all the basic fundamental areas of the golf swing, while incorporating general fitness and golf etiquette. This program is a development program leading into our cadet membership.
Cadet Program
The Huntingdale Cadet Program is an intermediate structured development program that focuses on juniors developing their skills and obtaining an official handicap. Each Sunday afternoon juniors participate in a one hour fundamental focus class and then have the option of playing on-course. Each class incorporates game based activities to target each skill level.
Young Membership
Cadets who demonstrate a good speed of play on the course and understand that a golf course is a shared environment are then encouraged to become Young Members of the club. As a Young Member they will have full playing rights to the course and the Club participates in many association events such as Pennant and the Warrigal Cup as well as Club Championships.
